Terms and Conditions

Thank you for signing up for the Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health (Devereux) Event. Proceeds from this event benefit Devereux’s mission to changes lives – by unlocking and nurturing human potential for people living with emotional, behavioral or cognitive differences. Please read in detail the Terms and Conditions of the Devereux Event powered by GiveSmart.

 

Do you agree to allow Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health to use your personal data?

I consent to allowing Devereux to capture and use my personal data. I understand and have read the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy and understand that I may revoke this consent at any time.

 

General Information 

Devereux warrants neither the quality nor the value of items at the auction.  All items are sold as is and are subject to conditions and terms stipulated by the donor.  Please inspect an item and specifications before bidding.  The dollar values are estimates provided by the donor and are not guaranteed by Devereux for tax purposes.  By your participation in the Devereux event, you waive any claims for liability against Devereux for products or services received.  No exchanges, substitutions or refunds will be honored by Devereux.  Every effort is made to describe items as clearly as possible. Please note expiration dates.  Unless specified, all items expire within one year of purchase. Out of consideration to our donors, please use the services within the dates specified. If an item is specified to be available for a certain date, please do not ask the donor to change the date, or any other circumstance of their donation.

 

Responsibility for Purchases

By bidding on an item or purchasing an instant "Buy Now" item in Devereux’s Auction, you are agreeing to purchase the "Buy Now" item and/ or the auction item if you should win.  Devereux is unable to cancel/rescind any bids.

 

Auction Item Conditions

  • All auction items expire one year from the date of the event unless stated otherwise on the certificate.
  • Certain auction items may have conditions provided by the donor.  Please thoroughly review auction item descriptions before placing your bid.

 

Credit Card on Account

By placing your credit card on file through GiveSmart, you agree to your credit card being charged following the event for the balance on your account, if you do not provide another method of payment at the Checkout area.  See Payment Options for further details.

 

Payment Options

  • You will receive a text message and/or email with a link to Self Checkout, where you may choose to pay for your items with your credit card on file.
  • You may also visit the Checkout area to pay your account balance by credit card, check or cash.
  • If you do not complete Self Checkout or visit the Checkout area, Devereux will charge the card on file for your outstanding balance.

 

Claiming Your Item

  • All winning bidders are responsible for picking up their items at the Checkout area before leaving the event.
  • If your winning item is not claimed on the night of the event, then your credit card on file will be charged and you will need to call or email the person listed in the Contact Us section of the event webiste within five business days to arrange for pick-up or delivery.

 

Shipping

All items opted to be shipped will receive an additional shipping and handling fee based on weight and dimensions. The winner must provide a valid shipping address to Devereux within 5 business days.  Shipping will then take 7-10 business days. Devereux will provide a UPS tracking number once available via email.
