Many of us have experienced the Hudson River by land and sea. This auction item is an exciting opportunity for two people to explore the lower Hudson Valley by air! This approximately one-hour flight will bring you down the Hudson River, around the tip of lower Manhattan, and past sights such as Ellis Island, the Statue of Liberty, Brooklyn Bridge, and more.
You will be flying in a private 1975 Piper Pathfinder four-seater airplane piloted by Frederick Ginsberg, an experienced pilot and beloved friend of Clearwater.

The winner of this auction will receive a certificate with contact information for your pilot to arrange a date, time, airport to meet, and flight path. Flight date and time will be arranged by the winners and the pilot. Like sailing on Clearwater, your flight will be dependent on the weather, and in this case, air restrictions.

*Please note that there will be a combined weight restriction of 420 lbs for the two passengers to take this flight.

Built for Pete in 1978 by the Bearsville Woodworking Cooperative, the Woody embodies Pete's vision of local community access and involvement in the Hudson River.
