Denise Toney is a multi-disciplinary artist who delves primarily into fiber art using predominantly African, Aboriginal, Dutch, Asian, and other imported fabric as well as domestic textiles. She has been selected for several juried exhibitions at: The Morris Museum - New Jersey's only Smithsonian Affiliate - the Visual Arts Center of New Jersey (solo exhibition: "Behold in Textiles"), Newark Arts Festival, East Orange City Hall, Studio Montclair, West Orange Arts Council, Bloomfield Civic Center, Manufacturers' Artist Village, Art in the Atrium, The Bridge Art Gallery, and i19 Gallery (an exhibition of international artists).

She is in five publications: "On the Easel", Bella Magazine, "The God-S Movement Coloring Journal", "SheEO's Rock! - as a contributing author who appears on the book's front cover - and her quilt is published on the back cover of The Morris Museum's catalog. Denise is the owner of Denise Toney Designs LLC, a full-service creative design company.
