The Kindergarten art project was inspired by Natalia Navarro of Valencia, Spain who creates modern wood wall sculpture. Kindergartners painted dowels of varying widths and lengths to create one large piece of colorful wood art. The art can be hung on a wall or set on a table. It turned out beautiful!
The first grade art project is inspired by the work of contemporary artist, Alexandra Mathias, a German painter and mixed media artist living in California. First graders did an amazing job with this piece and are so proud of it!
The second grade art project is a Chicago Neighborhood watercolor painting. The second graders did such an amazing job! They were so careful and focused and it turned out beautiful!
