Lot 1 is a long bodied ultra-smooth shouldered female with a ton of reach off her rear two. Her dam 204 was easily one of the coolest and most unique donors at FHSU. 204's untimely death last spring left Kasy orphaned at 50 days of age and rightfully so she weaned off a little on the green side, but has been catching back up quickly. I truly believe this is one that in a couple more months everyone is going to be wishing they were feeding! She is one of the last 204 daughters in existence and we think she has great potential as a donor female after her show career.

Anyone who has been around me much this summer has probably heard me talk about the Preacher daughter in the west pasture. That's because I cannot get enough of this girl! "Preacher's Daughter" is not only massive ribbed and stout, she combines it in an ultra-feminine package with a smooth shoulder and pretty head. I have laid awake at night thinking I may have lost my mind letting this heifer go, but I am equally exited to see what she can do for someone else. Fort Hays had the opportunity a few years ago to purchase a set of Hereford cows from the legendary Glen Klippenstien and with them came a super fancy Chiford female. I wasn't sure what to think of the cross at first but I think Glen was on to something because that cow can flat make a good one. Lot 9 has been a stand out in the Hereford pasture all summer. I am going to try and write Karma's footnote without sounding like a crazy person but it is hard not to. Yes, she is young and Yes, she is skinny! But when you step back and study this heifer on her pieces, I think she gets really good really fast. This might be one of the most unique Hereford heifers I have seen in a while. Karma is so good through her front one third, has great rib shape, is level through her hip and flat moves like a cat.
