Enjoy a lovely afternoon Tea Party at IslandWood with Garden Manager, Mira Rosenkotz. Treat yourself and your guests to an extensive tour of the IslandWood garden, including time to harvest and make your own herbal tea to compliment the delicate fare prepared by IslandWood Chef Jim White. Your festive tea and lunch will be sourced from the garden and will provide an opportunity to explore techniques and methods for making homemade tea.

The garden is an important campus classroom tucked in a sunny corner of the IslandWood campus with thoughtfully-designed garden beds providing a variety of tastes, colors, smells, and culinary uses. The garden also features a greenhouse, honeybee hives, and an interactive educational area about native pollinators.

This package makes a lovely celebratory event for all ages!

Horror Night in the Woods.

Join Daniel Myrick, Blair Witch Project director, and Julia Fair Myrick, the cult classic film's history fabricator, and IslandWood staff member, for an intimate dinner and exclusive access to the private staff campfire screening of their movie at IslandWood.

Celebrate the spooky season at IslandWood! One of the most successful independent films of all time, the Blair Witch Project is a 1999 American supernatural horror film written, directed, and edited by Daniel Myrick and Eduardo Sanchez.

This is your opportunity to meet Dan and Julia, now Bainbridge residents, and have a private dinner and chat about their process of creating the film. Then join IslandWood staff around the campfire at the Friendship Circle for the terrifyingly unique experience of watching the film among the tall trees. Two signed and original 1999 posters from the Sundance Film Festival premiere will be included for the winner. This is an exclusive and memorable way to celebrate Halloween!

Restrictions: The event will be held at islandWood's Bainbridge campus on the evening of Saturday, October 28, 2023. Maximum 10 guests for private dinner with Daniel and Julia. Movie screening includes IslandWood staff members.

Join Debbi and Paul Brainerd, founders of IslandWood, at their property on Bainbridge Island's Blakely Point for a mid-day, summer picnic in their outdoor gazebo overlooking Puget Sound.

Enjoy stories about the origin of IslandWood, as well as Debbi and Paul's passion for travel, the outdoors, and their creation of New Zealand's only Net Positive Energy accommodation that has been certified by the Living Building Challenge, The Headwaters Eco Lodge at Camp Glenorchy. Catering for your lunch will be provided by IslandWood's renowned Chef Jim White.
