Wendy Goldberg received her BFA from Cornell University and was
awarded fellowships to the Vermont Studio Center. Her work is included in
the Achenbach Collection of Prints and Drawings of the San Francisco
Legion of Honor Museum, Stanford Hospital/ Health Systems, the Haas
Collection, Genentech Corp, San Francisco Museum of Modern Art Artist's
Gallery, New York Drawing Center Viewing Program, Loyola Marymount
Health Center, Chicago; Berkman, Bottger & Rodd , LLP, NY, as well as
many other private and public collections throughout the country and
abroad.

Local Fine Artist Laura Culver earned a B.S. in Graphic Design from UC Davis. After a career in stock photography and advertising, she settled in San Rafael CA, and for several years was an artist specializing in Hand-Colored Photography.

However, her life changed in 2006, when she chanced upon a local oil painting class. A little fun quickly became a driving passion, and she left the photography behind, to pursue the creativity and challenge of plein air (outdoor, on location) oil painting. She began studies with Camille Przewodek, the Marin Art School and many others. Focusing on the "Colorist" approach, she gradually developed a distinct soft style, with a palette of intense warm and cool colors.

Laura was a long-time MarinScapes artist until their closure in 2020. She is an "Artist" member of the California Art Club and is represented by the Fairmont Gallery in Sonoma. Nearest to her heart, she is a member of the BayWood Artists, a small group of professional landscape painters dedicated to the preservation of local open spaces.

Local artist Dorian Frances original acrylic abstract painting, Dorian's cousin Clifford Smith is supported by Lifehouse.

Dorian has been a designer her entire life. She started oil painting when she was nine, then declared art as her major at Santa Clara University and also studied art in Florence. Dorian was a designer at Marina Florist. While in the City she focused on painting, including artistic realism, creating perspectives and trompe l'oeil (fool the eye) scenes. She painted murals in the lobbies of multi-million-dollar condo projects and faux marbles and finishes in wonderful Old Pacific Heights Victorians.

Since then, her painting has become much looser and she has expanded into layered abstracts, flowers and illustrating the adventures of dachshund Sally.

Dorian works mainly in acrylics, with some oil pastel. She loves color and the play of light on objects. Everything is just a shape, some shapes we recognize, some we don't. They all invoke an emotion. Dorian is inspired by nature, and all of the rich patterns and colors it creates and repeats over and over; from the figures we know and love, like dogs, roses and wreaths of flowers, to abstract figures and shapes floating through a world we can only imagine.

The Studio Collection of finely crafted color photographs were taken by Zeny and printed in a traditional darkroom by hand. These photographs were printed between the last decades of the Twentieth Century and 2015 in the darkroom in Palm Desert. Each individual print has undergone the meticulous, time-consuming and demanding twelve stage process before it is ready for presentation to the discerning viewer.

Each Fine Art Photograph is hand-signed, numbered, titled and its location noted at the bottom or back of each print. The edition is limited to just 150 prints. There are very few of the Studio Collection photographs left for the discriminating collector to acquire.

Positano, Sea and Tree

This coastal image was taken in January with the village of Positano, seen in the distance. This moody photograph, with low dark clouds clearly shows how the town of Positano is situated on the Amalfi Coast coastline with homes tumbling down the hillside to the sea.

Zeny used his Pentax Spotmatic with a 150mm Takumar Lens and negative film to take this image.

"Towers, San Gimignano"

San Gimignano is one of the most iconic hilltop villages in Tuscany. The often photographed towers, forming an unforgettable skyline, date back to medieval times. Zeny visited and photographed this small Tuscan village many times and never tire of the images it presents to him.
