Welcome to Cocktails for Canines 2025!
If you are one of our lucky in-person attendees, we cannot wait to host you at Cocktails for Canines on April 12! Here are the things you need to know to have the best evening:
Location: Itasca Country Club, 400 E. Orchard St., Itasca, IL
Date: Saturday, April 12, 2025
Time: 5:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. (5:30 - 6:00 p.m. is sponsor-exclusive check-in)
Attire: Cocktail - tux and ballgown not necessary
Our evening's festivities will be as follows:
5:30 - 6:00 pm: Sponsors and their guests check-in
6:00 - 7:15pm: All guest check-in and cocktail hour with passed appetizers, photos with adoptable SCCR puppies, a wine pull, viewing of our silent auction items and the opportunity to purchase Dream Getaway raffle tickets and Heads or Tails game tokens
7:15 - 9:30pm: seated dinner, heads or tails game, a lively live auction and our Cash for Canines paddle raise
9:30 - 10:30pm: the bars will remain open for a nightcap and socializing before collecting your auction winnings and heading home thinking of all the dogs you helped us save!
This event is open bar with custom cocktails and Tito's Handmade Vodka will be onsite handcrafting blackberry mules!
Dinner includes salad with balsamic vinaigrette, your pre-selected entree of beef tenderloin and chicken piccata with green beans and potatoes or the vegan portobello and chickpeas meal, followed by flourless chocolate cake for dessert.
What to do before April 12:
- Enter your credit card information to make event entry and participation quick and easy
- Purchase your Dream Getaway raffle tickets - only 200 tickets will be sold
- Browse our silent auction items and get your initial bids in starting Wednesday, April 9
You will only need cash if you would like to tip at the bar and coat check - all of our event activities will be done through our event website. There is an ATM downstairs at the Fox & Turtle restaurant.
