This rifle has been custom built to closely match the rifle used by Kyle Lamb and the other elite special mission unit operators in Somalia during Operation Task Force Ranger.

The original rifle was an issued Colt 723 rifle affectionally know as the CAR-15.
Operators would customize their rifle to best suit their individual needs. Features such as Aimpoint 2000 Red dot hunting scope, fabricated gun light mount, redi-mag magazine holder.

These rifles were never officially adopted by the US Military, they were commercial offerings acquired by SOCOM and the success of this program led to the development and adoption of the M4 Carbine and the later SOPMOD accessory kits.

Each gun has had it's frame coated in coyote tan cerakote, and 2 medallions were engraved, one honoring the Special Operations Wounded Warrior foundation the other honoring Task Force Dagger.
