Melinda Church was diagnosed with stomach lining and small intestine cancer in early May 2022 and passed away on September 29, 2022. She fought the cancer bravely however could not overcome the severity and effects of the cancer. Melinda was a loving Mother, wife, Grandmother and a friend of many who met her. She was a devout Christian and caring person. She was known to distribute rice crispy treats to the homeless in Salinas and had a deep passion for helping them. She loved her family, visiting her home on Balboa Island and playing golf and lunch afterwards with her friends at Corral de Tierra CC. We all miss her and are thankful and proud that she was part of our lives and that she fought so hard to be in remission.
Wouldn't be nice if we found a cure for Cancer!
