Need a day or night out? CCDS teacher, Joanna Leung-Brown, has you covered! She would be delighted to come over and spend 4 hours with your little one(s). You scream; I scream; everyone screams for ice cream with Ms. Bertsch! Your student and their three friends will spend two hours with Ms. Bertsch for Graeters ice cream and a playdate at a nearby playground. Ms. Bertsch will definitely be getting two scoops of cookies and cream!
Deal me in at Ms. Schoeny's card table! Who doesn't want to spend an afternoon playing cards and enjoying some laughs with Ms. Schoeny? Students will learn some traditional fun card games followed by "topping off" a special treat using their creativity as they decorate and EAT a delicious snack. Date to be mutually agreed upon.
Join Hirsch for a fun day out to the ballpark on a SCHOOL DAY! Hirsch will take you and three CCDS student friends to a Reds game for a fun day of baseball; with lunch included. Enjoy this fun adventure with our fantastic Head of Middle School; for the Wednesday, April 19 game; 12:35 p.m.; to watch our hometown Reds take on the Tampa Bay Rays.
Make a big splash with a back-to-school swim experience with Mr. Conner! Six CCDS students are invited to take a dive in the CCDS pool; enjoy free gym time for games; and lunch! This experience is one and a half hours (forty minutes of swimming; lunch; then free time in the gym or fields). Ideal for a mini birthday! Weekend (Saturday or Sunday) date and time to be mutually agreed upon for the 2023-2024 school year.
Your student and 2 friends will enjoy an Authentic Mexican Experience at El Picante with our MS Spanish teacher, Ms. Hall. Ms. Hall will take your student and 2 friends to a Mexican restaurant where they will eat and order/converse in Spanish. Time and Date to be mutually agreed upon. Must be used by the end of May 2023.
Middle or Senior Student Families! Whether it is writing enrichment, extra "encouragement" to complete summer reading assignments, help with college essays, and/or SAT or ACT language preparation, Dr. Bridge has you covered! Dr. Bridge will provide three 90-minute personalized sessions for your child's needs. These sessions will take place in the months of June or July at your discretion. The location will be at CCDS or in your home. The objectives of each session will be agreed upon with you and your child. A little summer burst of Language Arts instruction is always a good thing! Dr. Bridge is an English teacher in the Upper School. She has over two decades of teaching and tutoring experience with Upper and Middle School students.
Calling all Roller Coaster enthusiasts! Up to three CCDS students will spend the day at Kings Island with Athletic Director, Dennis Coyle, enjoying all of the thrilling coasters it has to offer!
CCDS Elite Athletic Camps are facilitated by CCDS varsity coaches and designed for athletes interested in learning or advancing their techniques and skills. This camp will provide instruction in the fundamentals of football with a focus on position, skills, speed and agility training, and sportsmanship. Open to grades 5-8. Dates of camp are June 12- June 16, 2023, 8:30 - 11:30 am.
The Goal of CCD Sports Camp is to teach fundamental skills that span multiple sports and boost overall athleticism. A typical day consists of carious games and skill-building activities, including but not limited to dodgeball, basketball, flag football, soccer, and whiffle ball. Participants will explore and discover skills needed for a variety of sports, leaving camp with a better concept of team and the fundamentals associated with each sport. Valid for grades 2-8. Camp dates are June 5- June 9, 2023, 9:00 am - 3:00 pm
One lucky student will have the honor of serving as Head of the Lower School for a day! The student will accompany Mr. Morawski throughout the day, participating in activities that could include greeting students as they arrive at school for the day, speaking or reading a book to students, passing out dessert during lunch, the list goes on! Experience a day as the Head of Middle School with Hirsch. One lucky student will make morning announcements, have lunch with Hirsch, decide the order in which classes are dismissed for lunch, and participate in some of the essential responsibilities of being the head of a division. Join your first-grade teacher(s) and classroom friends for an afternoon of STEM projects, yummy snacks and social time! Each child will participate in several STEM activities while on this after-school play date. All first graders are welcome to attend! This party will take place on Thursday, April 20th after school from 3:00-4:30 p.m.
Students will get together for a party kicking off Screen-Free Week Sunday, April 30, 2023, 2:00-4:00 p.m. The party will include many activities for the students to participate in ranging from board games, card games, outdoor play and art activities. Closing out this afternoon of fun will be a sundae bar for students to indulge their sweetest desires. Students will take home tons of fun ideas for the family to enjoy during Screen-Free week. Open to all 2nd graders.
Join your Pre-K II teachers for a Saturday morning full of fun! This item is available to Pre-K II students only: no siblings. Wear your pajamas to school on Saturday morning, April 15th from 9:00-11:30 a.m. and be ready to enjoy a delicious pancake breakfast while playing board games, outdoor games, and having fun with friends!

The challenge - if you choose to accept it - is to help the fourth-grade team raise $1,500 to support CCDS scholarships. Each fourth-grade teacher has donated $50 towards the goal. Should you choose to accept the challenge, your $50 match will earn your child one free dress pass. Give three gifts of $50 and your child receive five free dress passes (you'll be a hero!). Dress pass is for a regular in-school uniform day before the end of the 2022/23 school year.

A "Raclette Dinner Party" for 6-8 persons at the home of the winning bidder. We will provide the raclette "grill" and the raclette cheese, meat and vegetables, including potatoes, cornichons and mustard, as well as French wine, bread and dessert for a simple, yet elegant, dinner. This is a tradition that originated in the Valois region of the Alps and is carried on by many French and Swiss families today. (Raclette is the French word that means "to scrape" and centers around the cheese that is named "Raclette"). C'est amusant et delicieux! Time and Date to be mutually agreed upon.
Clay party for up to 15 CCDS students with Mrs. Yokel. Spend the afternoon with Mrs. Yokel making fun clay works of art. All clay work will be returned to students in a gift bag once it has it has been dried and fired in a kiln to make them a forever memory. Date and Time to be mutual agreed upon. Boys Varsity Lacrosse coach, AJ Froehlich, is offering a 1-hour private lesson. Your child will have an exclusive one-on-one session with AJ to address any area of Lacrosse.
