In Memory of Richard Siegele

This tree was decorated by the Community Connections Board of Directors as a tribute to Richard Siegele. Richard was a passionate disability rights advocate who served on the Community Connections Board of Directors and Client Leadership Council. This pet-themed tree brings together Richard's enthusiasm for Festival of Trees & Wreaths with his love of animals.

Richards' peers on the Client Leadership Council remember him in this way:

"Richard Siegele was a friend to all, and he was always a happy and bubbly person. Richard cared deeply about other people and was the best advocate we have ever met. Richard wanted everyone to feel welcome, accepted, and included."

Because of this good fortune we wanted to give back to the community that helps others that are like my daughters who live with disabilities.
