TLI is delighted to be supporting TCEF in its annual fundraiser. Whether you yourself have been wanting to learn Tibetan or you want to gift a friend, this is a wonderful opportunity to both learn from an expert teacher and support a wonderful organization, the TCEF.
Start the New Year with the goal of beginning to learn this beautiful and transcendent Dharma language. Our class will meet by Zoom webinar on Tuesdays starting on January 24, 2023, 5:00 to 6:45 pm Pacific (USA) Time. If you to miss or need to meet on another night, not a problem. All classes will be available by video recording through May 10, 2023.
With 30 years' experience, Lama David Curtis is an expert guide for learning to read in Tibetan. In this course you will learn to spell and read a Tibetan word, gain a basic vocabulary of 120 words, and be introduced to the Tibetan-English dictionary. With this knowledge, travel within Tibetan communities is enriched.
Our course is fun, effective, and geared toward engaged Dharma students. From the very first class, you will be introduced to Dharma vocabulary words. We will do all we can to help you succeed!
This auction item includes the following:
Course study materials: The Tibetan Level I Workbook; the Flashcard set for Levels I & II; The Tibetan-English Dharma Vocabulary by Kalu Rinpoche; The Tibetan Language Pre-Primer by Dr. Cathy Kielsmeier; and the Tibetan-English Dictionary by Jaschke.
Registration for the Level I Course starting in January 2023.
