Tonglen Meditation Lesson
$150'Tonglen' is Tibetan for 'giving and taking' (or sending and receiving), and refers to a meditation practice found in Tibetan Buddhism. The intention of this practice is to work with habitual patterns of mind to develop compassion and caring for others.
Practicing tonglen meditation in everyday life can soften your heart and gradually reduce conflicts, calming your mind to help stay connected to others around you. As a side effect, you become happier and more peaceful yourself.
Venerable Lozang Yonten la has been an ordained nun for nearly 20 years. She travels around the world teaching in her clear and inimitable style. We're really grateful she has offered this lesson to the TCEF community.
A Zoom lesson will be coordinated by TCEF. Due to her teaching and travel schedule, this lesson can only be scheduled in February 2023.
