Elegy for My Tongue is Pakistani-American poet Saba Husain's full-length collection of poetry published by Terrapin Books. In this signed copy of her debut book, "the everyday is always in conversation with the enormous-with the complexities of immigration, national identity, mortality, language and faith" (Kevin Prufer, The Fears). This book features fifty-five poems alongside an exclusive copy of one of Husain's unpublished poems that draws inspiration directly from her ties to The Refugee Response and the stories of its communities.

Saba Husain is a Pakistani-American poet and close friend of The Refugee Response. She was a finalist for the 2023 Perugia Press Prize, and finalist for the 2021 and 2020 X.J. Kennedy Poetry Prize. Her work can be found in Barrow Street, Cimarron Review, On the Seawall, and numerous other literary journals. Saba is a mother and grandmother. She lives in Houston, Texas.
