This is one big time steer that is first timer gentle (broke to show immediately and washed by 8 year old kids and younger), and on top of having the looks, the moves and the muscle you need to read the narrative that follows. First: If you want to play hard at Junior Nationals you have to be able to walk, have muscle and be good looking. Second: If you want to play at junior nationals, there's a little known rule change to be implemented in 2023 that a lot of steers sold this season won't fit into. They will have to be fully parentage verified. We have DNA on the steer, the sire (on file) and have DNA on the dam (not submitted to AHA yet). We can submit both the steer and the dam samples at purchasers request to make him eligible and will cover the cost associated. This steer checks all the boxes. The only reason this one was so unlucky that he's a steer now is his dam did not fit our programs so he was grafted to another more deserving cow. Wow that was a long footnote on a steer. Weighs 640 empty at sale time.
