Lebanese food brings to mind a kaleidoscope of sensory elements from the aromatic, sharp perfume of cinnamon, allspice, thyme, and succulent meat to the clear, refreshing notes of leafy green herbs, zesty lemon, and garlic. Bright pops of citrusy sumac, earthy za'atar, and the floral sweetness of desserts laced with golden honey round out the flavorful cuisine.
The first four couples to bid $100 each will take part in this authentic Lebanese dining experience at the home of Geoff and Kristin Solomon in Mason, on a mutually agreed upon date between January and April 2023. If needed, childcare will be provided by the older four Solomon children, with four little Solomon playmates included at no extra cost!
The menu will include: Olives, Baba Ghanouj, Labnah, Fatayer, Tabbouleh, Kibbeh, Sheik El Mehshi, and Warak Arish. Another essential part of most Lebanese meals is the inclusion of pita bread, which to the skilled is used as a replacement to cutlery.
