A true Vet Experience!
"Vet for a Day" is a chance for your child to learn what a day in a veterinarian's life might entail - a truly enriching and eye opening experience.
As our junior veterinarian, your child will be given a lab coat and stethoscope while they shadow a veterinarian for the entire day. Their day will be filled with hands on learning while they assist with patient examinations, observe surgical procedures, learn proper animal handling, and have the opportunity to ask lots of questions. Perfect for an aspiring veterinarian.
The junior veterinarian must be no younger than 10 years of age.

A day with Echo Experience!!
Your day starts at 8:00am with Echo, the Salem Dog! Hang with Echo and Mrs. Weinrich at drop off and welcome all the students...start practicing your hand wave now!
After drop-off you and Echo will have a nice walk around campus, followed by a Paw and Hand print art project.
Enjoy some snuggle time with Echo and your special Salem blanket. Relax in preparation for your personal Echo and you photo session!
Echo will then escort you out to your recess and you will finish your amazing day receiving an "Echo Experience" Swag Bag!

Get Creative in a Two-Part Private Ceramic Art Class with Mrs. Hernandez!
Part 1: Student and friend will be invited to the Salem Art Studio at a prearranged time (after school or on a weekend afternoon) for a 1.5 hour studio lesson.Students will select from a variety of ceramic project options. Mrs. Hernandez will guide them through creating the ceramic project of their choice.
Part 2: Ceramic projects will need to dry for 3 weeks, then be fired in the kiln. After their projects have been fired, students will be notified and the second date will be arranged for the students to return to the studio to glaze their ceramic creations (1 hour).
The glazed clay projects will be fired in the kiln again by Mrs. Hernandez. She will notify students when they are ready to be picked up and taken home.
