Adam Wainwright Autographed Baseball

An almost certain future Hall of Famer, Adam Wainwright (40), is coming off a stellar season. The three-time All-Star and two-time Gold Glove winner led the 2021 Cardinals to 17 wins, with 206 innings pitched and 174 strikeouts. Wainwright finished the season 17-7 in 32 games pitched (3 complete games) with a 3.05 ERA. He has lowered his ERA in four consecutive seasons.

The 29th overall pick of the first round in the 2000 draft, and 2006 World Series winner, Wainwright has spent his entire 17-year career with the Cardinals. He has a 195-1117 career record with a 3.35 ERA in 425 appearances (390 starts). He enjoyed a five-year span from 2009-14 when he had 19 or more wins four times, including 20-win seasons in 2010 and 2014. He did not pitch in 2011 after undergoing Tommy John surgery.
In all-time Cardinals club rankings, Wainwright ranks third in wins, third in games started (390) and 3rd in innings pitched (2,567.1). He also ranks second in franchise history in strikeouts (2,147) -- behind Hall of Famer Bob Gibson.
