Description: A quilt is the perfect example of the beauty that comes from strong bonds, patience, and care. Katie and her two children, Jacob and Jennie, have an extremely loving relationship full of joy. As a single mother she has struggled, but has always endured through patience, kindness, and support from those close to her. She and her children enjoy time outside, making art, dancing, and baking. To take care of herself, Katie quilts. In "Sowing Seeds of Love", I am celebrating her family by incorporating her children's favorite flowers into a quilt pattern to display the beauty and growth that comes from cultivating relationships with loved ones.
