Children should be beginner to intermediate skiers, around the same level, have their own lift tickets, and be self-sufficient at getting on and off the lift (she can help one, but only has two arms).

Your Lower School student will rise to the rank of Lower School Director for the Day as they shadow our Lower School Director, Mr. Nate Mylin.

Your student will attend recess duty, important administrative meetings, classroom observations, meetings with the leadership team, and lunch at the Broadmoor with Head of School Tambi L. Tyler and Lower School Director, Mr. Nate Mylin. They will gain insight on professional life in education. The day also includes leading a fire drill and a visit to the Trianon Roof, weather permitting.

This event will be set up based on a mutually agreed upon date for the 23/24 school year.

Recommended for students 2nd-5th grade.

Coach Beardsley has played, watched, and loved volleyball since she was in the 5th grade. She has coached the Middle School Volleyball and Upper School Volleyball teams since 2014. Her coaching philosophy is based on teaching basic skills and encouraging joy for the game while building confidence and teamwork.

Coach Beardsley grew up on Mackinac Island, Mich., and graduated from the University of Michigan. She moved to the Colorado Springs area in 2014 and enjoys coaching and teaching math at The Colorado Springs School, as well as discovering new places to explore across the State.

The Colorado Springs School is proud to offer the CSS All-Star Basketball Camps again in the Louise Honnen Tutt Field House. Vicki Vaughan, CSS's director of athletics and leader of the Kodiak basketball program, has coached for 20 seasons. Coach Vaughan holds vast experience facilitating camps and takes pride in teaching basketball in a fun, safe, and healthy environment. Coach Vaughan is an inductee to the Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame for her own high school basketball career. As a player, she competed at Illinois State University and earned two Missouri Valley Conference championships. Her coaching experience includes collegiate-level basketball at USAFA and Lincoln College, and professional basketball in Blarney, Ireland. She is also a member of the Lincoln College Hall of Fame after coaching five 20-win seasons.
