The 2016 Argyle Brut Rosé magnum artfully weds rose petal, wild strawberry and lemon zest flavors with an opulent, cascading structure that bubbles to a rich, radiant finish. A true "wow" wine, this bubbly will turn any gathering into a celebration.

The 2016 sparkling wine vintage in the Willamette Valley was generous, showcasing the enticing allure and focused definition the region has to offer.

Blended between our two high elevation vineyards, 2016 Brut Rosé displays the delicate refinement of the Dundee Hills and the mineral tension of the Eola-Amity Hills. Bright, medium salmon-pink hue in color and perfume of rose petal, spring blossom and cardamom lead to an elegant, supple structure, and ginger-laced finish.

Calissa in Watermill was recently awarded the Wine Spectator's Award of Excellence, as their approach to wine has been described as "daring... [one that] Dionysis would approve of" (New York Times) and "bold...the equivalent of freaking to Burt Bacharach" (Eater).

Calissa sommeliers will lead a 20 minute tasting and discussion of different types of rose from around the Mediterranean and share insider knowledge on how to pick a great rose for your next dinner party or night out.

The talk will take place in one of Calissa's private rooms and include a a selection of mediterranean dips and charcuterie. Please
note this certificate is not transferable to another location.

The talk is lead by managing partner James Mallios (a former stand up comedian) who was described by Decanted as "about a hundred miles from the stereotypical sommelier - a sort of Greek version of Tony Soprano who looks more likely to kneecap you than pour you a glass of natural wine".

*If you decide to stay for dinner, we request that the party orders additional appetizers/entrees "for the table" and whatever wine is open at the time the tasting is completed will be "carried over" to your dinner and additional beverages, food, etc. will be charged at normal a la carte prices.
