Class of 2025 - this is for you! The College Essay Workshop is a two-day workshop helping high school seniors brainstorm; write; revise; and edit their college application essays. Whether it is for the UC or Common Application; students will leave the workshop with an immense feeling of relief; knowing that a daunting portion of the college application process has been completed. As an added bonus, a $25 Starbucks gift card and OLu insulated tumbler with a lid are included so you have the energy you need throughout the workshop.
The College Essay Writing Workshops will be offered on the following dates: Monday July 8th & Tuesday July 9th; Monday July 15th & Tuesday July 16th; Monday July 22nd & Tuesday July 23rd; Monday July 29th & Tuesday July 30th. Workshop hours will be 9:00am-3:00pm each day.
The College Application Workshop is a two-day class that will review the key elements of the college application and provides information that students will need to successfully apply to colleges that require the Common Application; as well as institutions within the University of California (UC) and California State University (CSU) systems. Students will be given step-by-step assistance and provided supervised lab time that will be used to complete applications. In addition to assistance with applications, students will be provided with instruction regarding college list making; teacher/counselor letters of recommendation; and the creation of a resume/activities list. The College Application Workshops will be offered on the following dates: Thursday August 1st & Friday August 2nd. You have the choice of attending the morning (9am-1pm) or afternoon (12pm-4pm) session.

Amanda Almeida is a bold young artist who loves to push herself to create better artwork all the time. She is active in the Visual and Media Arts Department and will be a senior next year.

Mary Jane Pfaff is a junior in the Visual and Media Arts department and a 2023-24 Orange County Register "Artist of the Year" nominee. She is adept in all mediums, and the thought process behind her artwork goes well beyond her years.
Jordan Bourges is in the senior class and a photography afficionado. He takes strong and unusual photos and has a superb eye for composition. He is hoping to continue pursuing this passion in the future and has applied to several film schools for college.
