Kristen Tye grew up on the Wasatch Front, loving art from a very young age. She graduated from USU in 2015 with a BFA in Drawing and Painting. Landscapes have since been the focus of her work, inspired by many scenic areas of Utah. Black lines and a rich, muted palette give Kristen's acrylic paintings a modern essence. She has sold hundreds of original paintings in Utah and across the country. Currently, she paints from her in-home studio in eastern Washington, where she and her husband are raising three young kids. There was no shortage of inspiration growing up in the wilds of San Juan County, Utah. The sublime sandstone canyons, rich in iron, hardship, and old ghosts have shaped my artistic sensibilities. Although I occasionally foray into other geographies for subject matter, this high desert is my greatest love.

After receiving a degree in painting and drawing at the University of Utah, my focus is mainly contemporary landscapes, but also still life and figures, which helps to reset my brain. My interpretation of the world around me is not meant to replicate, but to express a vibe or a feeling. My work is biographical, based on nostalgia, storytelling, and remembrance.

With over 70 major awards, listings in 7 books on prominent artists, and paintings sold through major auction houses, George W. Handrahan is considered to be one of the most collectable artists in Utah. Mr. Handrahan has been painting the beauty of Utah, California and New England landscapes for more than forty years.

George, a native of Utah, was raised in the rural community of South Weber. It was in this environment that he came to love and appreciate the diverse natural landscape surrounding him, taking every opportunity to spend time out of doors..

As a student, Mr. Handrahan learned to appreciate many forms of art but gravitated towards the work of LeConte Stewart, Maynard Dixon, the California and the American Regionalist artists, admiring their ability to subtly portray the essence of light, color, form, and mood.

Taking his degree in art from Weber State in 1976 under Farrell R. Collett and Richard Van Wagoner, these influences led him to devote his skills full time to landscape painting. The art of Mr. Handrahan is characterized by both his lifetime affinity with nature and his knowledge of art principles, design and composition.

Today, his primary objectives are to capture those instants in nature where form, color and light are constantly changing, while simultaneously instilling into each canvas a personal and emotional response. His paintings invite the viewer to see, in a unique way, color they might otherwise have missed, to sense a mood frequently ignored, and to share in the beauty of a transient time and place.

Greg Newbold began drawing and painting the world around him at the age of three and has been mesmerized by nature's wonders ever since.

Greg spent over twenty years honing his unique artistic perspective creating artwork for such notable clients as Simon & Schuster, Sony Pictures, Barnes & Noble, American Express, Fedex, Harper Collins and Random House. Greg's work earned acclaim and awards from the Society of Illustrators, Society of Illustrators Los Angeles and Communication Arts among others. He is now translating those picture-making experiences into his landscape painting.

Newbold's work is included in the permanent collections of the Boy Scouts of America, Salt Lake City Corporation, Utah Transit Authority and the Springville Museum of Art, as well as numerous private collections.

His work was part of the 2019 landmark Maynard Dixon retrospective and tribute exhibition "Along the Distant Mesa" and the accompanying book by Mark Sublette.

Kate studied painting and drawing at the University of Utah and graduated with a Bachelors of Fine Arts degree in 2005. The pattern and texture in her mixed-media floral paintings are inspired by her love for textile design and the decorative influence of William Morris and the Arts and Crafts Movement. Her work is currently being published by Poems Publishing and is sold internationally. Over the years her paintings have been used in feature films and TV shows, such as Glee and 21 Jump Street. Kate lives in Salt Lake City, Utah with her husband and their three children.

Stephanie Hock received her bachelor's degree in visual arts. She loved painting specifically but struggled to find her rhythm as an artist. She gave up art after college in favor of a stable office job. Two years later, she met her husband who gave her three tubes of paint as a wedding present along with the words, "I believe in you as an artist." Feeling empowered, she picked up a paintbrush again. Stephanie spent years learning through workshops, books, and most importantly, practicing for long hours in her studio. The discipline paid off as her work has received numerous awards and been collected internationally by public and private collectors and businesses. She has been the featured artist in several exhibits and shows her work in multiple galleries. She is excited to keep learning and telling stories with paint.
Stephanie lives in Murray, Utah with her husband and four children (twin girls and two boys). They love to travel together and plan to visit all 50 states. Stephanie finds inspiration for her paintings from the people and places they discover together and through her photography.

Artist Glenn Beck, born in 1964, and raised in the Seattle area, is an enigma to some. Perhaps even to himself. He has lived and thrived in New York City for years doing his top-rated radio show and industry changing TV show, both on CNN and Fox, while owning a ranch in southern Idaho. He runs one of the world's largest night tech streaming services and, yet, doesn't carry a cell phone and prefers to type on an old Selectric typewriter. He has written over 20 New York Times best sellers, many of which have nothing to do with politics. Glenn has had number one books in Fiction, Non-Fiction, Self-Help and Children's books. He can seem harsh to some on air, yet as a philanthropist has raised and given away, through his charities, over $60 million in the last ten years alone. While on the right, many of his good friends are not - including renowned photographer George Lange. He is inspired both through Mr Lange's art and their long-time friendship. According to Glenn, "George taught me how to allow my heart to see through my eyes."

Noting some of his greatest artistic inspirations? the foremost being Orsen Welles. Growing up listening to Welles on the radio, inspired Beck's love of voice and story. Same for the vision and magic of Walt Disney who, through moving pictures, made a mouse America's largest star. His personal art collection includes Winslow Homer, Jeremy Lipking, John Moyers, Thomas Blackshear, Dennis Ziemienski, Harry Jackson, some of America's earliest Illustrative artists and Arnold Freiburg. Freiburg's color study of The Prayer at Valley Forge hangs just outside of Mr. Beck's art studio.

Beck's love for American History and storytelling is seen throughout his work, with the hope of creating a uniting true image of the America we all long for and love. Politics aside, Mr. Beck's gift of storytelling takes a new bend in the path with Heroes, Myths and Legends, a new collection ringing of nostalgia and life, while emphasizing a hopeful future, and getting back to what makes us all 'Limitless'.

Glenn Beck splits his time between Dallas, Texas and Idaho, with his wife Tania, and their four children. He is a prominent supporter of Operation Underground Railroad, and currently is readying the opening of an American history Museum located in Texas.

As an early artist, Kathleen enjoyed working mostly with watercolors, but has recently been focusing on painting with oils. In addition to painting, she welcomes any opportunity to create beauty with her hands and loves making batiks, stained-glass murals, intaglio prints and building clay figures. Her subjects include vast rural landscapes of Utah, majestic sandstone national parks, historic pioneer homes, quaint towns, farm animals and women. As a mother, grandmother, sister and daughter, Kathleen's spiritual connection to the beauty and complexities of the day-to-day life of women is portrayed in an exquisite and elegant form.

My Idaho Grandmother was an artist and a poet. In her small 1920s house she had paintings hanging from floor to ceiling. As a child I would stare admiringly at all those paintings of dogs, and cats, and people, and fields, and mountains and think: "one day, I'm going to paint all those things and stack my walls with paintings just like hers." As a teenager I took my first proper art class from Leon Parson. A few years later, after spending 18 months living in Belgium and France, I fell in love with all things French and pursued a bachelors then master's degree in French literature, all while taking art classes where ever I lived. I studied for many years at the Art Students League of New York and at the Art Academy of London. Now I make my home at the foot of the Rocky Mountains where I love to meander into the hills and paint the beautiful folds of land as the sun rises all golden. And the walls of my house are covered in paintings of dogs and cats and people and fields and mountains, just like my grandma's.

Kara Aina is originally from New Brunswick, Canada. She attended art school in Canada then transferred to Brigham Young University to complete her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree.

Kara has also received an Art Education K-12 teaching certification from Utah State University and currently teaches at a local high school in West Jordan, Utah. Kara works primarily in watercolor, and oil and has an apparent love for simple and clean aesthetics, vintage fabrics, surface pattern and the interplay of shape and color. Her work is inspired by connections and interactions she has with nature, travel and relationships.
