Wine Barrel Adirondak Chair

This chair is constructed from parts of barrels used in wine making by Meyer Family Cellars in the Anderson Valley, Mendocino County, CA.

Anderson Valley is a remote valley located about twenty-five miles from the coast and is home to about forty wineries. The winery buys their barrels from the Oak Cooperage in Higbee, Missouri, about halfway
between Kansas City and St. Louis.

The barrels are constructed from white oak. Meyers Family Cellars uses the barrels for two or three seasons to age their wines, mostly reds, and then sells them to folks like me who find new purposes for them.
