As part of our commitment to serving our Armed Forces, Animal Friends provides priceless adoptions to all veterans and active military members. Your gift could underwrite the cost of a waived adoption donation for a brave service member.

Naming all the animals that come through our doors at Animal Friends may sound like an easy task, but with thousands of animals relying on us each year, that's a lot of names!

For your donation, you can choose names for all of the animals who are admitted during an entire day. Pick a theme or make your list of names and our Admissions team will use your names for a group of animals getting their fresh start at Animal Friends.

As a thank you for your gift, our team will follow up with photos and short bios of each of the animals you have named!

Our Chow Wagon Pet Food Bank provides pet food to hundreds of financially struggling families each month.

But, we can't continue serving our community without your help! Chow Wagon runs entirely on donations from the community and the need for support exceeds the resources that are available.

At Animal Friends, we're working hard to transport dogs from shelters in other parts of the country where overpopulation continues to be a very serious challenge. By bringing them to Pittsburgh, we're giving them a second chance at a happy life filled with love. Your donation of $500 would help underwrite the costs of a transfer with one of our partner organizations, like our recent transfer of beagles rescued from Virginia-based facility Envigo.

Animal Friends is committed to growing the next generation of animal advocates! Your donation allows our Humane Educators to purchase materials for a youth participant in out-of-school-time program. These materials help kids learn about animals through creative art activities and projects.

Reading is essential for development, especially when learning about new things like proper animal handling, species specific topics, or animal safety.
