Enjoy a slow ride at high tide to feast on a bounty of Store Creek's delicacies in a progressive dinner style event stopping at 3 of Store Creek's docks for sumptuous food and drinks. Flip flops or deck shoes are highly recommended for this boating adventure.

Event will start at historic Middletons at 4pm. From there, we will head to the Creekwood Lodge to enjoy our first tasty bites of 'fresh catch of the day'. Creekwood Lodge (circa 1910) once served as barracks for soldiers stationed at Fort Moultrie on Sullivan's Island and was barged to Edisto in 1950 where it was converted to a beloved family retreat. The old dock was rejuvenated last year to the blazing beauty it is today.

Next, we will board the boats and make our way to the dock at the ol' Fish Camp, a 1950's era modernized cinderblock and brick floor cabin where numerous misadventures and fish tales were born over poker hands, bonfires, and bourbon. Here we will indulge in a variety of fresh caught "crab creations" along with plenty to whet your whistle before cruising down Store Creek at Sunset towards Edisto Island's magnificent Middletons.

Our third "port of call" will be where we began for our finale of shrimp dishes and accoutrements to round out our fabulous afternoon of our Store Creek Seafood Safari. Middletons, with her grand splendor standing as tall as the majestic oaks surrounding her, has been in the Pope family since 1902. The initial foreman structure dates back to the 1700's with the main house circa 1815. Our voyage will end about 7:30 with a toast to what will hopefully be another beautiful Store Creek sunset.

Bay Creek Cruise to a Louisiana Crawfish Boil! Enjoy a creek cruise from the Marina at Edisto beach to Linda and Kevin Steele's house on Big Bay Creek.

The Steeles will host you at their beautiful Edisto Beach home with amazing views of Bay Creek. Enjoy a casual crawfish boil cooked by a Louisiana expert. Beer and wine as well! Sunsets on Bay Creek are amazing this time of year! You will cruise back to the marina after this amazing dinner.

Get your tickets to a one of a kind dining experience filled with fun local fare, overlooking the St. Pierre Creek on Edisto. This event is being hosted on Saturday, November 12th at 5 pm at the historic Peters Point home of Alicia and Jenks Mikell. Enjoy local oysters, mustard fried venison, gumbo and wild pig, and more. Beer, wine and cocktails, and all the deliciousness happens on the bluff overlooking the St. Pierre Creek while the sun sets over the ACE Basin.

An EIOLT annual tradition! Enjoy lively and refreshing libations while your gear up, then take a float down Store Creek with family and friends, and finish up with a cookout.

Launch from historic Sunny Side and leisurely glide along the water, catching views of birds, marshes and plants.

Hot dogs and fixin's and adult beverages and lemonade after we dry off.

Explore the wide wonderful world of the Lowcountry's Flora and Fauna with local biologist and EIOLT's very own Land Protection Specialist, Tom Austin. Tom is a walking, talking encyclopedia when it comes to our native plants and animals. Whether your interests are birds, botany, bugs, or what-have-you, you're sure to learn something new on this guided nature tour of our Edisto ecosystem.

Saturday, October 1, 2022 from 9am to 3pm. Final event date subject to weather. Bring your camera, binoculars, and fields guides. Please anticipate hot, sunny, humid weather and hiking through the woods. Sunscreen, bug spray, and water will be provided. Snacks will be provided but please bring a bagged lunch.
