The goal of acupuncture is to improve the flow of energy (chi, pronounced chee) through areas of the body that are obstructed. It has been used for thousands of years to promote health, prevent illness, and treat various medical problems.
Dr. Elizabeth Armstrong brings a unique perspective to her practice of acupuncture. After finishing medical school at Emory University and completing an Internal Medicine residency at Brown University, she practiced medicine for seventeen years in the Boston area and Lexington. She witnessed the wonderful curative effects of acupuncture and pursued training at the UCLA Helms Institute. Dr. Armstrong has been practicing acupuncture since 2005 and has a special interest in sports injuries, oncology patients, stroke patients, and chronic pain.
