Astronaut and Thunderbird Flying Experience

This package should be on every aviation enthusiast's bucket list!

You and a friend will get the chance to fly with four-time NASA space shuttle commander Col. Charlie Precourt and former Thunderbird and Southwest Airlines pilot, Paul "Sticky" Strickland, in twin L-39 Albatros jets owned by Stuart Fred, including one that won the AirVenture Oshkosh 2012 Lindy Award for best jet aircraft. This adventure begins in Salt Lake City with dinner hosted by Charlie and Paul. During dinner, spend time talking about aviation and planning for the next day's adventure. In the morning, attend ground school and then a pre-flight briefing. Then it's time to suit up and take to the sky for some low-level formation flying on the backside of the Wasatch Mountains along the Green River, and then some high-flying aerobatics above the beautiful canyons and spires of southern Utah.

You will conclude this exciting adventure with a post-flight debriefing, GoPro footage from your flight, a personalized flight suit, an L-39 patch, a model of the aircraft, signed photos of you, Charlie, and Paul, and a lifetime of bragging rights.

Note: This experience is good for two people on a mutually agreeable date.
