Art Night Out: Hogan Art Studio Tour and Dinner for Six
Enjoy the wonderful park-like setting of the Hogan house and studio in Montford. The house and studio are among the most remarkable in Asheville. Enjoy cocktails and hors d'oeuvres, provided by Tall John's, on the Hogan patio before a presentation of recent work by Kevin Hogan, a highly regarded maker who has lived in Asheville since 1979. Then take a brief tour of Montford as you travel to Tall John's, Trevor Payne's new restaurant opening summer 2022, a food-driven tavern located in the heart of Montford. Trevor Payne is an Asheville raised chef/restauranteur recently returned with his family to his hometown from Portland Oregon. Offered for October 2022. Your expert hosts will take you on a day long excursion to selected studios and homes in Penland in the beautiful mountains of Western North Carolina. Up to eight guests will enjoy exclusive access to a curated group of artist studios to meet the artists and explore their practice in a rare intimate personal setting. The group will proceed to a beautiful art filled mountain home of a maker, a home designed and built by renowned furniture maker and home designer Doug Sigler, where they will enjoy a fabulous gourmet meal in the amazing outdoor living room and kitchen of the house.
