What is the BeneFiesta?

The BeneFiesta is the Jimmy Miller Memorial Foundation's annual fundraiser that raises money to support our Ocean Therapy Program. It's one part benefit, one part fiesta and a whole lotta fun and fundraising.


Where and when is the BeneFiesta?

This year's BeneFiesta will take place Saturday July 23, 2022 at the beautiful home of Ron and Stacy Harrison in the heart of the Hermosa Valley. 


What time does the BeneFiesta start/end?

The BeneFiesta VIP Reception for event sponsors is 5:00-7:00pm 

The main event begins at 7:00 and will last until 11pm.

 
Is there a dress code for the BeneFiesta?

Yes, beach chic!

 
How do I buy tickets?

General admission tickets can be purchased through this BeneFiesta event page and are available for purchase now. BeneFiesta Sponsorships include tickets to the event.  Click here for sponsorship opportunities.  


How much are tickets?

General admission tickets are $250.

VIP Tickets start at $500. 

 

Do I have to create an account?

To purchase tickets, participate in our pre-event silent auction you will need to create an account with Givesmart.  Text benefiesta to 76278 and follow the prompts to create an account.  

 

What is included in my ticket?

Your ticket includes sophisticated Mexican cuisine, a hosted open bar with hand-crafted cocktails, beer/wine, margarita specialties, live entertainment both in and out of the water, bidding on live auction items, dancing and mingling with other fantastic JMMF supporters. A portion of your ticket price may be tax deductible - please check with your CPA or tax advisor.


Are there tables for sale or a formal sit down dinner?

No. Due to limited space and an active agenda, there are no traditional tables or a sit down dinner. Instead, we will have food stations, cocktail tables and lounges where you can gather with friends and enjoy your food and beverages.


How can I sponsor the BeneFiesta or support JMMF beyond buying a ticket?

Can I pay by check for my sponsorship and/or auction items?  

Yes!  We appreciate your check for sponsorship as it helps us avoid credit card processing fees.  Please make your check out to the Jimmy Miller Memorial Foundation and send to 2711 North Sepulveda Blvd, #331, Manhattan Beach, CA 90266 or contact our Event Coordinator, Michelle Messenger at benefiesta@jimmymillerfoundation.org or 213-709-6645 and she can assist you with your payment.  


Are you accepting in-kind sponsorships?

Many of our Silent Auction items come from our community partners. Consider donating select items such as unique experiences, vacation homes, art, sports and event tickets, memorabilia, wine or specialty alcohol, or gift certificates.  

 

Is the GiveSmart platform and my personal data safe?

Yes, JMMF has selected the GiveSmart platform based on their safety and security. They will not sell your data or market to you in any way outside of the BeneFiesta event.  All credit card transactions are encrypted to the highest standard.  

 

When is your silent auction?

We are excited to open our online silent auction one week prior to our event.  A carefully curated auction catalog will have exciting items for you to bid on.  The auction will open on July 18, 2022 at 9am and will close on July 23, 2022 at 8:30pm.  


Can I still participate in the silent auction even if I can't attend the BeneFiesta?

Yes! This year, the silent auction will be open to everyone whether you attend the event or not. You'll still need to create an account and register your credit card via the GiveSmart platform. Text benefiesta to 76278 and follow the prompts to create an account.
