Take home a 12-bottle case of the 2018 Gregory James Wines Beckstoffer Georges III Cabernet Sauvignon. This 100% Cabernet Sauvignon has aromas and flavors that are varied, multiple and concentrated with cassis, black currant, black cherry and raspberry sorbet with hints of Rutherford dust. This very traditional Cabernet Sauvignon shows discrete and fleeting hints of sage and fine herb. This leads to an intense concentration of fruit together with spice, vanilla bean, and toasty oak. The texture is firm, fresh, rich and pleasingly full bodied with a long lingering finish. Only 130 cases produced.

Beckstoffer Vineyards established in 1977, has become the premier grower of Cabernet Sauvignon in Napa and Lake Counties. The Georges III Vineyard, located in the heart of the Rutherford appellation in the Napa Valley was named by Andy Beckstoffer, in 1988 when he acquired the property. Since then, the properties all 300 acres have been replanted with modern spacing and trellising to achieve the best quality and yields from the vineyard. In 2009, 181 acres of the Georges III Vineyard were placed under a land conservation easement that forever prohibits non-agricultural development.

The Georges III Vineyard was first planted in 1895 by Mr. Thomas Rutherford, who the Rutherford wine appellation is named and later owned by the Georges de Latour family, founders of the famous Beaulieu Vineyards. The fruit from these vineyards has helped to establish the Napa Valley as a premier place to grow Cabernet Sauvignon and is one of the most sought-after vineyards in California.

Gregory James Wines was founded in 2012 on a shared passion for farming and great wines with a true sense of place. The same philosophy is true today for our small team at Gregory James Wines. We take pride in making single vineyard, site specific wines, with little intervention during winemaking. We celebrate wine bringing family and friends, new and old, together for a shared experience and lasting memories.
