Culloden Rocks Glass & Coaster
$100This limited edition presentation pack includes one numbered engraved whisky glass and one numbered wooden coaster, specially crafted for the shop at Culloden Battlefield and Visitor Centre from a historic tree.
The ancient beech tree, witness to troop movements at Culloden, reached the end of its natural lifecycle after almost 300 years and was felled to build a new bridge over the River Nairn.
The woodwork and engraving have been skillfully crafted by Burgess Hay and his son son Scott Hay, the famous bagpipe makers from Dunphail near Forres, who have family links back to Culloden. Only 275 of these packs were made, to commemorate the 275th anniversary of the battle.

Island Shetland Wool Throw

The Island Collection of Shetland wool throws are woven from wool harvested from Shetland sheep, an ancient breed of hardy sheep that were originally found are in the northernmost Scottish islands called Shetland.
This unique range of throws was designed by Gordon Kirkbright and Peter Wilson. Each design is named after an island on the West Coast of Scotland. Peter grew up sailing around the West Coast which gave him the inspiration for choosing islands to name each design. More designs will be launched over the next year. The shades chosen are natural tones of grey, brown and white that will enhance any lifestyle space. The throws are a generous size of approximately 80" long by 60" wide and woven in the Borders of Scotland.

Diana, Princess of Wales is fondly remembered as someone who cared passionately for others - making everyone she met feel special and valued with her genuine warmth and compassion.
Lochcarron of Scotland, the world's largest manufacturer of authentic tartan, received official approval to design the Diana, Princes of Wales Memorial Tartan in September 1997.
It was created in sympathetic response and respect of the Princess's memory. The tartan is based on a variation of the Royal Stewart plaid, in colours inspired by the Princess.
