Teresa's artwork is highly influenced by the iconography of religion and the detail in the paintings and reliefs from the Renaissance period. Shesus is a piece that puts into question what we are taught to idolize in women through the reimagined symbolism of Christian art and the freeing of this feminine image from the cross. Josiah Lee Lopez is an established Denver native artist recognized for his dynamic stencil work both inside and outside the gallery space. His work consists of graffiti, illustration, and painting. Drawn by popular culture, he has a personal archive of 10,000 images from magazines, books, and the web. His works, which require multiple stencils pieced together for the final composition, are typically depictions of historical figures and events significant to his personal and collective Latino identity.

Cal Duran is an iconic local artist that has taken the Denver arts scene by storm! Known for creating "folk art on steroids" and paying tribute to ancestors and traditional forms of representation, Cal creates art bowing to the ancient traditions of Mexico and the Southwest and conjuring the souls of ancestors in murals and installations of clay and papier-mâché.

He channels the artistans, craft-makers, mud-dwellers, the star-makers, dream-weavers and the earth-brothers - the ones who paved the way and created the path. Those spirits are his muse forever.

Cherish Marquez (b.1989 El Paso, TX, USA) is Latina and Queer identifying.

Cherish has been an advocate for victims of sexual abuse and for people with disabilities. She fights against mental health stigma and is an active member of the Queer community. Her practice includes creating digital landscapes, 3D modeling, Animation, Sound Design, Wearable Technology, Creative Coding, and Photography.

She is currently an artist in residence at Redline Contemporary Art Center where she mentors students in the EPIC Arts Program. She has shown her work in Ars Electronica Galley Spaces (Online), CADAF Contemporary & Digital Art Fair (Online), Social Distance Gallery (Online), RedLine Juried Exhibition at RedLine Contemporary Art Center (Denver, CO), Proud+, The Studio Door (San Fransico, CA), Coalesce && Object at the Vicky Myhren Gallery (Denver. Drawing depicts the return of the Spaniards to attack Tenochtitlan, Spanish Brigantines. The Spanish small warships on the right have been replaced by Lowrider cars as a reference to the Mestizo hybrid culture that would emerge 500 years later.

This series by Daniel Salazar is currently on view at Museo's Malinalli on the Rocks exhibit.

Daniel Salazar is one of the quintessential artists of the Chicanx and Latinx art scene in Denver. Along with his wife, Maruca Salazar, Daniel has been at the forefront of Chicanx arts for decades.

He has been exhibited by the DAM and El Palacio de Bellas Artes in Mexico City. He directs the XicanIndieFilmFest for El Centro Su Teatro in Denver, and is founder and CEO of Razalas Studios.

Carlos Fresquez is an icon of the Chicanx and Latinx arts scene in Denver! He has been exhibited in more than 30 cities in the US and 10 countries abroad. Particularly at the Smithsonian Institute, the Denver Art Museum, the Museum of Outdoor Arts, History Colorado, the Denver Center for Visual Arts, among many others!
