GOAL

Thank you, thank you, you're far too kind!~Jay Z

I appreciate you stopping by my page to hear my story. For those that don't know, I used to give people quite the run on the football field in my high school years. Unfortunately my sophomore year, after sustaining a series of hits, I started to have some really weird symptoms. 8 doctors later and a mother who wouldn't give up, they found I had a birth defect called chiari 1 malformation. It is something many people can go through their entire lives and not know they have. I was able to have this life changing surgery at Rainbow Babies and Children. Because of the Ronald McDonald, my mother whose always been my top supporter, was able to be by my side the entire time. Boy it was a painfully long journey but we got through it!

I will say, it was incredibly tough giving up those football cleats. For YEARS, I was distraught over not being able to compete anymore... Yet I had to be thankful because some people don't walk away from those kind of traumatic brain injuries. I even had a letter from Joe Pa and the Nittany Lions asking me to play for the organization... I also had one from Ohio State. 2 Big Ten schools which is why my Saturday's are consumed with college football. I was able to apply this competitiveness in the business world and spawned several successful business out of it.

This organization and the children/families it impacts continue to spoke to my heart. I consider it a duty every year to be an active participant on all events that I can be.

Please consider donating ANYTHING to help local children be close to their families in their times of need.
