Fund the creation of a season's worth of BCT musicals!
Students meet with professional composers and book writers to create 11 original musicals for BCT kids to perform in the coming season.
At least half of each writing team (adults and kids!) self-identify as BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, People of Color).
Help us lift up the voices of our community!
Give scholarships to 5 teenagers to participate in a season of BCT's Teen Ensemble.
Students spend 15 weeks rehearsing an original musical that they perform in front of the community.
Give a child 3 weeks of joy, creative expression, and community. Your donation allows one child to attend the VIOLA DAVIS BCT Summer Program for 3 weeks where they will create original musicals.
Give a child 10 weeks of musical theatre classes on Saturdays.
Students spend all day at BCT singing, acting, dancing and are given lunch, snacks and playground time.
Parents get much needed time to themselves, and children get a fun, safe, creative environment to express themselves in a supportive community.
Fund a scholarship for a student to help them prepare for high school auditions. Students will receive coaching on monologues and songs as well as assistance with self-taping.
Fund a week's worth of lunches for our students!
We feed all of our students who attend our weekend program, and we feed our students during the week who need that little bit of extra support.
Fund metro cards for our students who need that extra support getting to and from BCT.
