Support our guest families by adopting one guest room at the Chestnut Street House or Front & Erie House for an entire year in 2022.
About Adopt A Room:
The Adopt A Room partnership program allows you, your company, or your organization to be the room sponsor of one of the guest rooms at one of our two locations-Chestnut Street or Front & Erie. Your funding will support the housekeeping and maintenance of that room for a whole year and thereby provide a clean and comfortable space for all the families who will stay in that room during that time.
The Impact of Adopt A Room:
In 2019, we opened the Jill and Alan B. Miller Tower and began welcoming families into our new rooms. We now have more than twice as many rooms as we did before the expansion, so your support is more critical than ever. By partnering with our Adopt A Room program, you are doing more than making sure families have a place to sleep each night-as important as that is. You are making it easier for children to get the treatment they need and have their families close by their side, every step of the way. You are eliminating many of the financial challenges that come with traveling long distances for medical care, so that parents can focus on their child's treatment. You are also providing parents with the support and rest they need to be there for their seriously ill children and their siblings.
Last year, we had more than 2,137 family stays, with families traveling from 47 states and 29 countries. Families from Pennsylvania accounted for 32% of all stays and
19% came from New Jersey. While the average length of stay was 12 days, many stayed longer, with 365 nights being the longest length of stay.
Thanks to generous donors like you, 99% of these families believe that because of the House, they were better able to maintain their well-being while their children received care, and 98% believe that staying at the House helped to reduce their stress levels. Finally, 96% feel that the Philadelphia Ronald McDonald House provided them with support that they would not otherwise have received during their children's care.
Signage for Your Adopted Guest Room
A sign will be placed inside your adopted room identifying you/your company as the proud sponsor of that room. Signage will stay in the guest room throughout the entire year.
Name Placement On High-Visibility Area
You/your company will be listed on a high traffic area in both of our Houses. Families, volunteers, sponsors, and other visitors will be able to see the names of the companies, organizations, and individuals who have adopted a room throughout the entire year.
Letters From Families
During the course of the year, you will receive personal notes from families who stay in your sponsored room.
Permanent Reminder of Your Service to Families
You will receive a personalized plaque that recognizes your generous contribution for you to display in your office or home.
All sponsors will also receive recognition in our 2022 Annual Report, listing on RMHC Philly website, invitation to an exclusive reception, and mention in local publications.
*Due to the limited number of Adopt A Room partnership opportunities available, you will have first right of refusal for the Adopt A Room partnership for the following year.

About Ronald McDonald Camp:
Each August, over two hundred campers pack their bags and head to Ronald McDonald Camp. Located in the beautiful Pocono Mountains, Ronald McDonald Camp looks like a traditional summer camp, but as anyone who has been there knows, it is so much more. Camp is a place where kids with cancer, and their siblings, can enjoy just being kids. It's a week of fun and friendship, and freedom from being different. It's a chance to experience new activities and acquire new skills in a supportive, nurturing environment. It's a time when kids can talk openly about cancer and everybody else understands. Camp welcomes children ages 7 to 17 who are currently undergoing treatment or who have been treated for cancer. One sibling per camper also has the opportunity to attend. To learn more, please visit www.philaRMH.org/Camp.
About Adopt A Cabin:
An Adopt A Cabin partnership donation of $2,500 allows you to support a cabin at Ronald McDonald Camp. Cabins can have two sponsors and your support makes sure our campers have a comfortable place to sleep each night and most importantly, a place for campers to gain strength, confidence, and form friendships that will last a lifetime.
Note: If restrictions surrounding COVID-19 do not allow for in-person Ronald McDonald Camp, Camp will take place safely in a virtual space. Adopt a Cabin donations will be used to provide campers with supplies for camp activities and ensure a safe, secure online platform for campers to engage with their counselors and friends.
With your help, we can have an even greater impact

We are always in need of individually wrapped snacks to keep our families energized while they spend time at the hospital! Your donation will help us purchase snacks such as granola bars, chips, pretzels, nuts, etc. for families to pack and snack on throughout the day.
**If you have any questions about Fill Our Snack Pantry, please reach out to Alyssa Tritschler at email@example.com.**
We ask our guest families for a donation for each night of their stay with us to cover the cost of the comfortable room, healthy home cooked meals, and shuttle services to and from the hospital. We never turn a guest family away due to financial hardship and waive the fee for those who are unable to pay. Please consider supporting one of our guest families for a week.
Meet Kyle & Kaleb Zabinsky:
In the summer of 2015, the Zabinsky family stayed at the house for nearly 4 months, far away from their home in Virginia. The family temporarily relocated to Philly after Kaleb's CPAM diagnosis in utero and an unexpected premature delivery at 29 weeks. The House quickly became a haven for not only their parents, but also their grandmothers who assisted weekly with their care, and even Kyle who graduated 40 days earlier from the NICU than Kaleb. The Zabinskys continue to stay at the House for annual checkups at CHOP.
"It's hard to put into words what RMHC Philly gave my family. During a very dark time, the House brought hope, comfort, rest, and nourishment. I will never forget the warm greetings after a long day in the hospital, all of the amazing amenities, and the most delicious meals. It allowed me to fully focus on the health of my sons and my entire family is incredibly grateful for the staff and volunteers that make this special place possible. Their service had a deep impact on my life. " --Jennie Zabinsky, Kyle & Kaleb's Mom
