In 2008, Gil Hanse was tasked with the project to return Quaker Ridge to its former Tillinghast glory and succeeded over a three year time period. William Rockefeller and Cornelius Vanderbilt were among the men who established Sleepy Hollow Country Club in 1911. The original nine holes were designed by C.B. MacDonald and built by architect Seth Raynor. In the late 1920s, Sleepy Hollow was expanded to 27 holes by A.W. Tillinghast. Established by renowned Philadelphians in 1897 as the first club in Philadelphia exclusively for golf, Huntingdon Valley is home to 27 holes. Moving just two miles up the road from it's original location in 1928, Huntingdon Valley tasked William Flynn with the course design and his business partner Howard C. Philadelphia Country Club was founded in 1890 by a group of Philadelphia business men who originally called it "The Country Club." It began solely as a Polo Club, but a 9-hole golf course was built in 1895 and PCC became the seventh member of the USGA. Since then, the club has hosted many events like the U.S. Women's Championship in 1899, the Davis Cup in 1930 and the 2005 U.S. Amateur.

Rolling Green Golf Club opened for play on July 31, 1926. Founded to be a "golf course for golfers," Rolling Green delivers. Designed by William Flynn, it is revered as one of the country's top classic, Parkland style golf courses. Host to many USGA events, the club hosted the 1976 U.S. Women's Open and the 2016 U.S. Women's Amateur Championship.

Golf for four (4) players at Riverton Country Club in Cinnaminson, New Jersey.

Riverton Country Club was established in 1900 and was the first club from the state of New Jersey to join the Golf Association of Philadelphia. The famed Donald Ross designed the 18 hole course retaining one hole from the original 9 hole facility. That course opened in 1917 and has stood the test of time to this day. Just 100 years after Donald Ross placed the 18 greens, still standing where they did then, Riverton embarked on a restoration project in 2017. Golf course Architect Tyler Rae is wrapping up that restoration of the Donald Ross course to its original design. This spring/summer would be a great time to come to Riverton.

Golf for three (3) players at Atlantic City Country Club in Northfield, New Jersey.

In 1898, the course and clubhouse officially opened, even though it was still under construction. Despite only having 9 holes completed, golfers were flocking to the shore to play. Atlantic City Country Club is one of America's oldest courses. The term birdie originated in 1903 on the 12th hole by Philadelphia's own Abner Smith. ACCC hosted many notable guests during it's time like Frank Sinatra and Jack Kelly, Grace Kelly's father. In addition to the club's rich history, this seaside links course is a challenge to all golfers with its long carries over water, deep bunkers, and shifting breezes.

Golf for four (4) players at Whitemarsh Valley Country Club in Lafayette Hill, Pennsylvania.

Founded in 1908, the course was designed by famed golf course architect George C. Thomas Jr. The club has hosted many events since its founding, including the 1917 Patriotic Open, the U.S. Women's Amateur for 18 consecutive years, and the annual Philadelphia IVB Classic. Many great golfers like Jack Nicklaus and Arnold Palmer won the IVB at Whitemarsh. Hit the same links that legends conquered.

Golf for three (3) players at Lancaster Country Club in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.

Lancaster Country Club was founded in 1900 and moved to its current location in 1913. With an 18 hole course designed by William Flynn and an additional 9 hole course called The Highlands, this southeastern central Pennsylvania club is a gem. Home to the 2015 U.S. Women's Open, Lancaster Country Club is no stranger to good competition and this threesome with Head PGA Professional, Rick GIbson, will prove just that.

Golf for three (3) players at Lookaway Golf Club in Buckingham, Pennsylvania.

With the property dating back to 1713 and the clubhouse being built in 1757, Lookaway Golf Club has quite the history. With the deed to the property being signed over from William Penn, himself, it is believed that the clubhouse is the oldest building in the United States used for its purpose. Founded in 1999, Lookaway's first rounds were played in May of that year. With a robust caddie program overseeing a Rees Jones design, this round of golf will uphold the quality and excellence boasted by the former dairy farm logo.

Golf for three (3) players at Lehigh Country Club in Allentown, Pennsylvania.

Founded in 1910, the first two lines of the bylaws remain the same as they did when the original Allentown Golf Club was established over 100 years ago. A William Flynn design built by his business partner Howard C. Toomey, the course moved to its current location in 1928. With just two par fives and elevation changes of over 100 feet, this course is a must in the Lehigh-Valley.

Golf for four (4) players at Jericho National Golf Club in New Hope, Pennsylvania.

Designed by Dr. Michael Hurdzan and Dana Fry, Jericho National opened in 1999. Jericho is known for its dramatic bunkering and contoured and fast greens. This makes it challenging, yet a very enjoyable for every golfer that plays at Jericho. Not only is the course challenging, but it is also extremely scenic with its natural beauty from the surrounding Jericho Mountains.

Golf for four (4) players at Bent Creek Country Club in Lititz, Pennsylvania.

Home to the only golf course designed by Jay Morrish in the northeastern United States, Bent Creek Country Club is a gem in Lancaster County, PA. Founded in 1991, construction of the golf course took two years to complete and it was open for play in 1993. This foursome will prove to be just as elusive as its architect.

Golf for three (3) players at Llanerch Country Club in Havertown, Pennsylvania.

Llanerch Country Club is an Alexander Findlay design established in 1901. For much of its history, Llanerch was home to 27 holes, but in 1949 those 27 were shortened to 18. Llanerch saw one of Byron Nelson's 11 consecutive wins and was home to the 40th PGA Championship in 1958. Host to multiple Pennsylvania and Philadelphia championships, this course is an essential part of Philadelphia golf history.

Golf for three (3) players at Old York Road Country Club in Spring House, Pennsylvania.

Originally founded in 1910 in Jenkintown, Old York Road Country Club was a nine-hole design on land leased from Abington Friends. In 1963, with expansion of Abington Friends School, Old York relocated to its current location in Spring House. William and David Gordon designed the course on which 164 committed members were happy to relocate.

Golf for three (3) players at Manufacturers' Golf and Country Club in Fort Washington, Pennsylvania.

In 1887, Manufacturers was originally founded as an eating club that was made up of a group of Philadelphia textile managers. In 1925, the club moved from its original location in the city to its current location in Fort Washington, because the group desired a golf course and country club. The golf course was then designed by William Flynn and an impressive new clubhouse, overlooking Sandy Run Creek, was built.

Golf for four (4) at Medford Lakes Country Club in Medford Lakes, New Jersey.

The course was designed by Alex Findlay, also known as the "Father of Golf" and opened in 1930 as a 9 hole course. Forty years later, Medford Lakes decided to expand the course to a full 18 hole facility. Harold C. Burdy, who apprenticed under Robert Trent Jones, designed the additional nine holes. Medford Lakes Country Club is an amazing course that offers members and guests a fun and memorable experience.

Golf for four (4) players at Fieldstone Golf Club in Greenville, DE.

Fieldstone Golf Club is a new aged course with an old world feel. Hand-laid rock walls that wind through the property, as well as several historic building ruins, were incorporated into the design planned by Dana Fry and Michael Hurdzan. The course opened in 1998 and features dramatic elevation changes and bent fairways.

Golf for four (4) players at Commonwealth National Golf Club in Horsham, Pennsylvania.

Commonwealth National Golf Club opened for play on June 30, 1990. The course was designed by the great Arnold Palmer and Ed Seay. Unlike most Northeastern golf courses, Commonwealth boasts a southwestern or Floridian vibe.

Golf for four (4) players at Lulu Country Club in Glenside, Pennsylvania.

Founded in 1912, the 18-hole course that stands today was not built until six years later. Lulu Country Club, the first designed by Donald Ross in The Keystone State, opened in 1918. The clubhouse was constructed another nine years later. Play the first of 16 courses designed by Donald Ross in the state with this foursome.

Golf for four (4) players at the 1912 Club in Plymouth Meeting, Pennsylvania.

The course gets its name from the year it was founded. On land that was originally a chicken farm, this course was named Plymouth Country Club at its founding. There is much debate on William Flynn's contributions to the design of this golf course, but it surely features some of his signature architectural nuances.
