Bottle of 1975 Sandeman Port from Hiram Simon/WineWise

This Ruby Port which is made from the ripest grapes. The fermented wine is fortified before being aged for 2 years in massive oak vats which preserve the ripe fruit character. Upon bottling, the wines continue to age and can reward patient maturation for many decades.

Dijon born surfer turned Cru Beaujolais, natural wine champion, Julien has extensive experience working for notable organic and biodynamic estates in Burgundy, New Zealand, California, and 2018 marks his 10th year farming his own organic vineyards.
