Nights of Shelter is an opportunity for you to donate a 100% tax deductible monetary gift to support women and families experiencing the crisis of homelessness in your community. Your donation helps women, children and families get the support they need to get back on their feet. No donations are too small. Below are fixed costs needed to shelter 1 family:

• $2,500= 2 Months of Shelter
• $1,250= 1 Month of Shelter
• $600= 2 Weeks of Shelter
• $300= 1 Week of Shelter
• $150= 3 Nights of Shelter
• $50= 1 Night of Shelter

This generous gift will help provide for a family of 5 for two months. Providing shelter means heat, air, electricity, plumbing and secure rooms. It also means qualified and attentive staff, safe spaces, and transitional programs.

Because of our unique individual rooms, families and women request MICAH House first when they are in a state of crisis. We always have people on a wait list. Your generous gift will help us maintain our high quality of care and move families through our program smoothly to get them back to a place of stability.

When we added our women's shelter in 2019, we expanded our mission to serve single women suffering from trauma. They have a space to heal and grow safely. Your donation allows for our women and families to have that moment to heal, regroup, and relaunch.

5 Nights of Shelter will help a woman or family have a safe sanctuary after a violent or dangerous situation. MICAH House provides the best care to folks as they move through these challenging moments in their lives. Your donation helps us help them get to the next chapter.

3 days and 3 nights could mean safety and security to those experiencing homelessness. Perhaps it takes 3 days to get into the new house, or for grandma to get out of the hospital, or the down payment to be processed. Your gift of 3 Nights of Shelter at the MICAH House supports people though this challenge.
