The Ridgefield Grinch (who lives just north of Whoville) will be BACK during the 2022 holiday season to spread cheer and demonstrate to the community that maybe Christmas doesn't come from the store, maybe Christmas perhaps....means a little bit more.

The auction package includes a private driveway visit from the Ridgefield Grinch. He (or she) will visit "Whoville" homes (in Ridgefield) during the month of December 2022 and deliver the Christmas spirit in a way that only the Ridgefield Grinch can.

In 2021, the town's response to this iconic character was nothing short of Grinchtastic and the unique experience sold out quickly.

The winner of this experience will visit One Hump Farm (located on North Street in Ridgefield) for a meet and greet with Sheik the Camel, a local celebrity. Why yes, if you didn't know, Ridgefield is home to an 8-foot, 1800 pound camel! Sheik is part of the Heering family who moved here in 2018.

Sheik meaning "king" in Arabic gets lots of visitors a year. He is joined on the farm by "Humpfree", a rescued alpaca, and "Harry" a rehomed rescued llama.

This auction package gives you and your family exclusive access to the animals for 1 hour to learn about them, their history and take photos.

Leave family pictures to a professional who knows how to put your whole family at ease. Choose either July 23 or July 24* for your mini session to be held at Sherwood Island State Park, in Westport, CT. The session includes 15-minutes with Jessica to capture a mix of classically posed family portraits and casual images of your family having fun together. The package also includes 5 favorite images for download with the option of purchasing more.
