Every kid should have a table that's just their size! Don Martinson, who has volunteered with Wichita Habitat since we began our work in Wichita 35 years ago, has made one that comes with a spot to sit for the smallest diner! Now it's fun to sit at the kids' table! It would be a great spot for crafting and coloring, too. Don is an incredible craftsman who creates masterpieces every year for our Raise the Roof silent auction. Just this past March, our volunteers and staff joined with Don's family to celebrate his 100th birthday! Don told us he's looking forward to all he'll accomplish in the next 100 years. We don't doubt this - after all, he's a father, grandfather, former teacher, volunteer and mission trip leader. Thank you, Don, for all you share with us and the world!

Cole has truly benefited from having a Big in his life and he showed and has shared his appreciation with Tajahnae. Tajahnae said, "Cole is an artist. I suggested we do some Jackson Pollock splatter because it would be fun! He took the time to find the base color and colors that would pop on the chair! The chair is more of a statement and art piece; it's why we went with the paint that looks like stone!"
