Like many artists, Wyland often reflects on what he has seen in his recent journeys. In this beautiful original watercolor of an orca, Wyland's thoughts return to his many trips to the Pacific Northwest. "There I was in Hawaii thinking about my next painting, when my mind took me back to an incredible orca I had seen a few years earlier," Wyland says.
