Add more love to your kitchen! This year, FA's youngest students created a kitchen bundle just for you. Each student participated by leaving their tiny hand print on your new chef's apron. You will be able to wear your beautiful linen apron while serving treats on the included charcuterie tray made from hardwood Walnut and Swirl Maple. Charcutier board is finished with brass handles.

The Junior Kindergarteners showed their love in this thoughtful art project. Each student created a monochromatic art photo used as a background to their heart shaped hands. These all come together to form a simple loving gesture which can be viewed for years to come.

Each Kindergarten student has decorated and placed their unique butterflies on this canvas creating a 3d scattered butterfly art piece. This unique and sweet piece of art will brighten any room and warm your heart for years to come.

You may not know it, but our students are the greatest reason why so many families want to discover the FA difference. The experiences they share with friends and family provide an honest view of who they will become! This first grade project is inspired by the hearts that we LOVE so much and the smiles they bring to our school each and every day!

A photo was taken of each students hands and used as a border surrounding hand painted clay hearts in this one of a kind shadow box. This unique piece will be loved by all for years to come

Every third grader used their small hands to knit the thick yarn of this unique throw blanket. Look closer, and the neutral-colored blanket is accented with a scatter of brightly colored ribbon. Each small ribbon is a marker to show where every child began and ended their very own stitches. Find the students' names written artfully on the ribbons.

With an irresistible texture and a personal touch from each child, this blanket will bring warmth year after year.

Match wits with Mr. Evans' class in The Game of Fourth Grade Knowledge! The students from the Class of 2030 compiled questions taken from their studies this year of Wordly Wise, History, Science, Math and Reading. Mr. Evans supplied the Trivia questions that might even leave his students guessing! Who will learn their way to Fifth Grade first? The board game comes complete with snacks for a super fun and challenging family game night! Thank you to Head of Upper School Tony Durso for testing and analytics and to Henry Millar '20 for design and implementation.

Taking a moment to look at everyday symbols, our fifth graders delved deeply this year to offer art reflecting themselves. The students chose imagery that symbolizes or represents aspects of themselves to arrange in collage form within a silhouette of their own profile. This photographic assortment could be as simple as cuddly animals, favorite colors, or mouthwatering cuisine?to deeper undertones seeking silent representation. What is left, is a colorful window into their worlds, one that grows more complex with time. Showcased in a custom-made frame, this piece will require some time to take it all in and offer visual pleasure in any room!

The world is yours! Inspired by their expanding perspectives of the world and their places in it, the Sixth Grade Class Project is part travel map to mark explorations and part reminder that the world is indeed wide and awaiting the impacts they'll one day make.

This 36" x 24" map, mounted on foam and framed, includes a custom Class of 2028 compass. A memory book with contributions from every student describing the places they'd like to see is also included. Bon voyage!

Find the images of the dissected earthworm, the pandemic face mask, the falcon/unicorn, and many more reminders of the 7th grade year! A chart is attached to the back of the piece to decode which students created which objects. This unique canvas is 24" by 30" and will become a cherished keepsake in your home!

The 8th grade has created an original art piece capturing the many memories and feelings that surround coming of age in the time of COVID. The students, in their own words, share their experience of middle school, their anticipation of high school and their sweetest memories in a collage created from their COVID masks and written in their own voice. This is a keepsake that beautifully illustrates the bittersweet experience of what it means to move on to the next chapter in a student's journey.

SURPRISE! Your lucky lower school student will love this in-school birthday celebration! Six dynamic Upper School Student Ambassadors will hand deliver homemade cupcakes to your child's classroom on his or her special day. The celebration includes balloons and a rousing rendition of "Happy Birthday". Must be used in the 2022-23 school year.

Sometimes even lunch time can turn into a field trip or party! You choose! Ten Lower School students can enjoy a special off-campus lunch with Head of School Karen Moschetto. These lucky students will board the FA mini bus, take a ride with Ms. Moschetto as their driver, and enjoy a special luncheon at a local restaurant; OR treat the girls/boys in your child's Lower School class to a pizza party in the conference room hosted by Ms. Moschetto. Lunch just doesn't get any better than that!

Let your child get a feel for serving as Head of School at FA. Your son or daughter will be introduced throughout the day by Ms. Moscheto and have the privilege to declare a denim day, run a fire drill (weather permitting) and attend appropriate meetings and conferences. Host a private party with Ms. Wimble! There's no better place to celebrate than in the Fredericksburg Academy gymnasium. On a mutually agreed upon date, up to 25 kids will have the opportunity to practice their free throws, improve their hockey skills or just run wild and have fun, like kids should. Tables & Chairs can be set up on request in the lobby for you to bring in pizza, cupcakes, or whatever your special party requires.

Have your favorite running falcon become our Head Cross Country Coach for our annual Cross Country Invitational Meet held in mid-September.

Duties include:

Starting Boys 5K Race with starting pistol or air horn
Starting Girls 5K Race with starting pistol or air horn
Encouraging runners along course
Helping assistant coaches keep score and call out times to runners on the course
Photo opportunity with XC team
The coach will also receive a "coach's bag" with everything he or she will need for the meet
