Printed and framed 12.5" x 28.5" poem about Norwegian heritage by well-known Norwegian-American poet Joseph Langland (1917-2007).
Raised in Northeast Iowa on the family farm, Langland received both a bachelor's degree (1940) and a master's degree (1941) from the University of Iowa. He served in the U.S. Army as an infantryman during World War II. After the war, Langland taught part-time at the University of Iowa and then joined the faculty of University of Wyoming until 1959. He then moved to the University of Amherst, Massachusetts, where he founded the MFA Program for Poets Writers. He was a faculty member at U-Mass from 1959-1979 and a professor emeritus from 1979 until his death in 2007 at the age of 90.

The artist Bjørg Frøisok Bjøberg was born in 1945, in Flå, Hallingdal, in east Norway. She has lived in Balestrand on the Sognefjord since 1973. She was a teacher for 30 years. She studied art with Reidar Finsrud and Arthur Adamson and developed the artist within herself. Since 1993, she has been a full-time artist.

This collection of rosemaled plates were painted by Gyda Mahlum who was awarded the Vesterheim Gold Medal in Rosemaling in 1972 and passed away in 2004. "Lysefjorden Norway" is a 24" x 30" original oil painting by Sven Lindauer.
Award-winning artist Sven Lindauer has been painting and sculpting professionally for decades, with his work in private and museum collections all over the world.
He was formerly a historical artist for National Geographic TV, was artist of the year three years in a row for the International Wildlife Film Festival, and is the official historical artist for the U.S. Marshal Service Museum.
In 2020, Sven put together a book entitled The Art and Crafts of Ancient Scandinavia, a full color coffee table book representing the history of Ancient Scandinavia showcasing 21 original paintings. He will be giving two Book Talks at Norway House on this recent release on June 25 and September 17.

Norwegian-born artist, Terje Lundaas, who now resides and works in Miami, is a strong supporter of the Norwegian community in America. From his studio in Miami, FL, Lundaas mostly concentrates on designing and blowing glass. His glasswork has been sought after by many hotels and cruise lines like the Breakers Hotel in Palm Beach, FL; the Hyatt Resort in Waikiki, HI; the Ritz Carlton Hotels in Florida; the Royal Caribbean International Cruise Lines; and the Norwegian Cruise Line. Lundaas continues to make glass art in his Miami Studio, which is set up for all types of glasswork-blown, fused, cast, and slumped. He also teaches glass blowing at the University of Miami, and his work is on display in Galleries across the United States.

"Dalles des Morts" means 'death rapids' in French. It was the name given to a particularly difficult stretch of rapids, along the Columbia River, traversed by the voyageurs. The 32 coins are made from 92.5% silver, measure 39mm in diameter, and contain 31.1g of silver each. Minted at Det Norske Myntverket from 2005-2007, each coin depicts a king of Norway--ranging from the first, Harald Fairhair, to the current, Harald V.
Each coin is in an individual plastic case that rests in one of three velvet trays inside a sleek wooden case. The coins come with a leather binder that contains information about each coin and the king they depict.
