My grandmother used to make carpet strips from any remnants that she could find. My mom handed this tradition down to me. I bought the material to make these from my Amish friends.

This recycled denim rug is hand loomed by Bill Hoernke. Natural cotton warp, dark bands are navy cordoroy. Imperfections are natural.
