  • Laura & Adam Peck, Co-Founders at Riverwater Partners, bring a love for community as demonstrated by their involvement with so many local organizations. Laura is on the Cancer Center Board of Directors at the Medical College of Wisconsin and the Board of Directors at MIAD. She and Adam are constantly inspired by the generosity of spirit and philanthropy of those in the Milwaukee community. Community Smiles Dental is an organization whose leadership and impact was a natural fit for them and they are  proud to be Co-Chairs of this year's Laugh for a Smile.


  • Dr. Miranda Peter first started out as a clinical volunteer at CSD prior to joining our team this past February. Now, she continues to run her practice, High Point Family Dentistry in Menomonee Falls, and on what typically would be her day off, she works for CSD. In addition to now being a part of our staff, she and her husband, Kurt, expanded their support by volunteering to help Co-Chair our 2022 Laugh for a Smile event for the second time.


  • Anne Zizzo is Founder & CEO of Zizzo Group Engagement Marketing (ZG), a 25-year old firm and one of the largest integrated engagement marketing organizations in the Midwest. Anne's son, Joe, also works at ZG as a Senior Account Executive. Both Anne & Joe believe strongly in giving back to their community. Through their work at ZG, and personally, they have not only donated to local charities, but have each sat on numerous boards and provided pro bono marketing services to nonprofits because they believe in leading change. That is how they made the decision to get involved with Community Smiles Dental. They saw a need and wanted to help in the best way they could by providing their marketing expertise and helping to lead as Co-Chairs of this year's event.

 

  • The Community Partner Award honors a long-standing partnership and significant financial supporter crucial to CSD's dental care programs. This year's honoree, the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry Foundation, has invested over $500,00 in CSD's growth since 2013, with specific support to expand our community outreach presence and introduce an innovative medical-dental integration program. 

 

  • The Chairman's Smile Award is given annually to a person/people who have played an integral role in the success of the clinic and in making more smiles healthy for some of our region's most vulnerable patients. We are thrilled to honor four of our founders in 2022, all of whom just completed more than 12 years of Board service, providing ongoing strategic vision and leadership. Our honorees are Dr. Dan D'Angelo, Dr. Nick Nelson, Dr. Ken Schellhase, and Robert Speer.
