As proud partners of Step Up, JCPenney x Muhammad Ali are honored to support mentorship non-profit Step Up that works to empower teen girls, young women and gender-expansive young adults to pursue their dreams of success. Step Up is dedicated to closing the opportunity gap, transcending gender + racial inequities, and advancing families and communities.
Through our special broadcast today, we hope to raise $5,000 to help Step Up raise $25,000 this week.

In March 2020, Congress passed the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act to provide immediate relief for nonprofits. The CARES Act includes the following expanded charitable giving incentives which have been extended for tax year 2021.
New Deduction Available for up to $300 per taxpayer ($600 for a married couple) in annual charitable contributions. This is available only to taxpayers who do not itemize their deductions.
New Charitable Deduction Limits: Individuals can elect to deduct cash contributions up to 100% of their 2020 adjusted gross income, on itemized 2020 tax returns (up from 60% previously). Corporations may deduct up to 25% of taxable income, up from the previous limit of 10%.
