Secession Golf Club opened in the fall of 1991. The course was designed by Pete Dye and later finished by Bruce Devlin. Sitting perfectly in isolation amongst tidal inlets and no housing in sight, Secession offers golfers a true escape. To enable players to truly take in the sights, Secession is a walking only course with caddies.

As a two-time host of the PGA Championship, it is no secret that Kiawah Island Club is an exceptional Golf Course. The River Course is a Tom Fazio masterpiece. It is a highly challenging course wit stunning savannahs and simmering ponds. The Cassique course is Tom Watson's debut North American course. Watson created the holes so that they could be navigated in a variety ways depending on the weather conditions. Creativity plays a key role in a players ability to conquer this magnificent course.
