What a Peng-WIN!

Bid to on the goal pucks that led the Pittsburgh Penguins to victory against the Toronto Maple Leafs on October 23, 2021 at PPG Paints Arena. The Penguins were victorious with a final score of 7-1.

• O'Connor scored in the first period with 8:07 minutes. It was assisted by Pettersson and Friedman. O'Connor was the first star of the game.

• Matheson scores with 18:22 minutes remaining in the second period, with an assist by Kapanen.

• The third goal was by Zucker in the second period with 18:07 minutes remaining, assisted by Heinen. This was the second goal scored within the minute!

• O'Connor scores yet again in the second period with 8:59 minutes remaining, with help from Pettersson and Heinen.

• Pettersson scores in the second period with 6:01 minutes remaining, making the score 5-1. It was assisted by Guentzel and Rodrigues. Pettersson was the second star of the game.

• Boyle makes the lead to 6-1 with 19:40 minutes remaining in the third period. It was assisted by Simon.

• The last goal was scored by Rodrigues in the third period with 17:36 minutes remaining. With an assist from Matheson and Kapanen, this power play goal helped to lead the Penguins to victory with a final score of 7-1!

The alternate captains of the night were Jason Zucker, Brian Dumoulin and Jake Guentzel.
